LUNAR SURFACE NAVIGATION: A really old web site

In the mid-90s I built my first web site, based on a "Lunar Surface Navigation" paper I wrote in 1991. The site is certainly primitive by modern standards, but has the virtue of being simple and quick to load, is devoid of any pesky javascript, and should work on any device.

The subject matter of the paper has become increasingly relevant as national space programs and commercial enterprises plan to exploit water ice resources at the lunar poles. While technology has vastly improved since this paper was written, the basic principles of lunar surface navigation remain the same. I can only hope someone finds the information here useful in some way.
